About the event
Performed in Hungarian.
Anyone who loves dance, music, theatre, circus and play should not miss the latest production of the Háromszék Dance Theatre (Háromszék Táncszínház), Pinocchio. Those who already know the immortal tale by Carlo Collodi, the writer born 200 years ago, will find it worth seeing again, as the company tells the story of the little wooden puppet in a new way, with live music and plenty of magic. Young and old have seen Pinocchio’s adventures in many interpretations, but this time the creators want to enchant children so that the experience of the show stays with them for a long time. The dance play naturally features the well-known characters of the tale: Geppetto, the Fox and the Cat, along with a strongman who works magic with the power of thought, a bumbling clown, an acrobat girl, a magician and the Fairy, who accompanies our hero throughout his journey.
We eagerly await children and adults to discover this magical fairy-tale world and join in the circus story, where even a tiny fib is enough to make Pinocchio’s nose grow longer.
