La Dolce Vita - Italian Swing Night
What would Queen, The Beatles, Prince or Guns N’ Roses sound like in a 1930s swing club?
About the event
What would Queen, The Beatles, Prince or Guns N’ Roses sound like in a 1930s swing club? This autumn, Sugarpie and the Candymen bring to Romania an elegant, energetic live show full of musical surprises.
One of the most original swing bands on the European scene, the Italian group reinvents great pop and rock hits through jazz manouche, swing, blues, soul and spectacular vocal harmonies. The songs we know and love take on a completely new life in a show where retro refinement meets the energy of modern music. The singer's charming voice, the guitars, the double bass, the vibrant rhythm and the artists' stage presence create the atmosphere of an evening that seems to come straight out of a vintage Italian film - sophisticated, playful and full of life.
A show for jazz and swing lovers, but also for everyone who loves great hits, live music and original experiences.
