Public events in Satu Mare are available as open data through a simple API. Use them on your site, in an app or in a research project, without asking permission.

Licence and attribution

The data is provided under CC BY 4.0: you may use, adapt and redistribute it, including commercially, as long as you credit the source - "ilovesm.ro".

GET /api/events

List of published events, with filtering and pagination. Includes the archive.

GET /api/calendar

iCalendar feed for subscription (webcal), by organiser, category or venue.

GET /api/widget

The data behind the embeddable widget: upcoming events of an organiser.

Search suggestions for events, organisers, venues and categories.

Good to know

Endpoints allow browser access from any domain (open CORS).
Responses are JSON, shaped {"ok": true, "data": {...}} or {"ok": false, "error": "..."}.
Responses are cached for a few minutes; polling more often gains nothing.
Event ids are stable; use them as the identifier, not the title.
